free people march '11 catalog |
over the weekend, husband + i got to see my niece ride at a local equestrian center! she has been riding for years and i love that she follows her heart to do something different than the other kids her age. i'm tellin' ya, this girl is special. leading her horse, neptune, over to the center:
obviously, i took this opportunity to channel my inner Dior // Ralph Lauren // A.F. Vandervorst fall 2010 self. my own interpretation of this English classic was executed by sticking to a few horse-riding inspired pieces at a time. since the equestrian trend can quickly go halloween- costumey, I went with a sleek riding pant + a simple slouchy top + blazer for a chic spin.
would you rock the equestrian look or do you prefer to leave it on the runway?
yours truly-
super cute. i also looooooove the free people inclusion. their new stuff is fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog today via Dilly Dallas, and wanted to share with you how much I've enjoyed reading it. Your pictures are great!
ReplyDeleteAs for me, I grew up near a horse stable and spent a part of my childhood horseback riding, or hanging out at the stables with my neighbors. I loved that part of my childhood, and am always on the hunt for outfits that remind me of it. I would totally rock the look!
Love this look! It perfectly fits the theme without being too much. Always love your outfit posts~ they are so inspiring!
