this weekend marked a very monumental event -- the marriage of my dear friend Lauren {aka southernaisle}!  the two day event was highlighted with dirty shirleys, beautiful floral arrangements {i.e. peonies of unbelievable scale}, dancing, fried black eyed peas, a breathtaking plantation home, room service, bow ties, champagne toasts, red satin christian louboutins, a string quartet, southern hospitality, happy tears and endless love. . . all around.  i feel honored to have been chosen as her matron of honor, and wish she and B a lifetime of happiness -- so cheers! {clink}
