i love mixing unexpected patterns and hues, but i prefer to keep some balance tied into the outfit so that the mismatching appears intentional -vs- "having gotten dressed in the dark." for this look, i achieved said balance with the following:
- LIGHT: pink of the overlay, the manicure and the pink of mini slip.
- DARK: black of the sunnies, the slipdress and heels.
styling tip: infusing black into an overly girlie outfit immediately toughens it up and grounds the look.
