mix and match suiting:: part one.

while shopping do you ever fall head over heels in love with a pattern, but the pieces come in a sad little set?  here's a quick tip::  for interest, and an easy way to stretch your dollar… break the pieces up!  i snagged this dark floral tulip suit at a local vintage shop {for only $14},  separated the pieces, and styled two totally different looks for some inspiration to get you started.

floral suit jacket, vintage via cheap thrills // waxed denim, zara {as seen here} // round etched sunglasses, alexander mcQueen {as seen here} // on lips, mac 'ruby woo' {as seen here} // gold chain necklace {as seen here} + bangles, vintage via maes // string cuff, dahlia lynn {as seen here} // photos by keely yount

i hope this was helpful!  please stay tuned for an eclectic second outfit, utilizing the skirt {plus an i heart nyc t-shirt}. . .   xx
