time to put on some street clothes and come out of hibernation.

i hope every single one of you had a delightful Christmas, filled with joy- yes, Y-O-U! i so treasure this time with my family, now more than ever. part of getting older, i suppose...

mom and i made a pass to a local bookstore yesterday where i happily landed in the periodicals {think VOGUE Paris, ELLE UK, VOGUE Best Dressed Special Edition}. When skimming thru ELLE UK, i kind of fell in love. the culprit is this ASOS skirt that was cleverly styled with a black beaded crop, serpentine cuff, single cocktail ring and red polish:

we finally ventured back to the lakehouse yesterday and i spent the evening undressing our tree and vacuuming up {the majority of} those pesky Christmas tree needles! the house is officially back to normal and it feels pretty killer {please note kitty placement in both before and after}:

happen to notice the amazing difference in photo quality? yay for mr. tulip louise so generously placing the new iPhone 4 under the tree for me! {smooches}
