little red riding hood.

last week i took part in a StyleBy.Me photoshoot for a local NWA boutique, masons. the featured trend was over-the-knee boots, which have never really spoken to me since i have a petite frame {5'2", since i'm sure you were on the edge of your seat} - i ended up loving them though! they're so dramatic, but can also be tamed by folding down; gotta love a 2-for-1.

i also really enjoyed this sweet plaid coat, 'cause i secretly felt like little red riding hood:

tonight i'll be heading 45 minutes south to attend a vintage teal holiday party and can hardly wait - they even promised champagne! i wore one of their lovely custom necklaces here:
