crowd pleaser.

as if showcasing a stellar fall 2011 collection for louis vuitton yesterday wasn't enough, marc jacobs sure does know how to throw a great party!  guests at paris fashion week were welcomed with oversized black balloons + a lavish black tent + french maids + caviar + champagne.  how over-the-top-fabulous!

 

then the real show began.  once the music was pumping, 67 models {naomi campbell included} turned out a very cool "fetish" themed show.  think corsets, bodysuits, fur, black lace, high waisted boyshorts and nylon thigh highs.  it wrapped with kate moss walking the final look, while smoking a cig.  yup, you read that right.  see for yourself:

 

the collection's aesthetic reminded me of these beautiful images from a recent oyster editorial, featuring lara bingle.  the proud fur shoulders, the lace, the corsets. . .
